Glossary/Terminology used in the software

| Additional Guest | This is the additional guest who are invited via the Primary contact |
| Assignee | The person who has responsibility for the task or time slot |
| Attendance | Grouping of people that impact the event |
| Audit Log | A record of someone using the software |
| Breadcrumbs | It allows users to keep track and maintain awareness of their locations within programs. Follow the breadcrumbs back to the beginning |
| Budget Line Item |
This is a record of a transaction that affects the budget. This may be a + or - $ value. |
| Client | The "billing" person/company for the event |
| Customer | A person, group or business who uses and pays for services provided by others |
| Dashboard | A central hub of information |
| Estimated Attendees | How many people do you expect to attend the event |
| Event Code | A unique identifier for the event |
| Event level | It is the secondary level in Circolo Software. It is Event specific data being displayed |
| Event Title | The name of the event that will be displayed on all pages & documentation |
| Event Type | A tag to group like events for filters, reports to name a few |
| General User | This is a heavily restricted group of permissions for team members, customers & suppliers. It is specific to an event |
| Guest | A person who has accepted to attend an event |
| Guest list Max | What is the maximum amount of peope that can accept |
| Heirarchy | The way different components, modules, or permissions are organised in a layered or tiered structure |
| Invited Guest | This is the primary contact person for an invite &/or RSVP. |
| Invitee | A person who has been invited to attend an event |
| Invitee List | A list of all people Invited, or to be invited, to the event |
| License | A subscription to use the software |
| Location | The venue/room/area the event will take place |
| Owner | The Circolo user who has overall ownership of Circolo |
| Permissions Type | A grouping of permissions that will dictate what a user can see &/or do within the software |
| Run Sheet | Run sheet lists the sequence of steps for running an event from start to finish, set out by time, date, location and responsibility |
| Run Sheet Item | An individual time related slot within the event period |
| Seat | An instance of that subscription license which we assign to a User (this a 1-to-1 relationship; not concurrent users) |
| Short Description | To explain to the reader the purpose of the event, task or timeslot |
| Tags | Keyword/s assigned to a piece of information for grouping, filtering & searching |
| Team | The Organisers Team who will deliver the event |
| Web App | A web application is a type of app that can be accessed through a web browser. When accessed in a browser on a mobile device, web apps look and behave like mobile apps |
| Widget | These are like mini apps within the software e.g Tasks, Invites, Budgets |
| Widget Filters | A way to filter available data for easier viewing |
| Workspace | This is the top level in Circolo Software. Provides a collaborative space for managing team members, events, and permissions across all of the database. |
